Whenever Eddie and Venom are sparring (mostly verbally, sometimes physically) the movie sparks with a wonderful queer energy that makes me wish we just got a rom-com with these two squabbling in their apartment for the whole film instead of the Carnage malarkey. 
Good use of the one PG-13 F-Bomb, though. 
Also: Robert Richardson shot this?!?
