In typical Disney fashion, the film is beautifully animated and contains great themes about family. But other than that, I really didn't connect with this one as much as everyone else did. Dare I say... I was bored during this movie. This isn't a bad film by any means, I just couldn't find a lot of elements in the film that were above average. Sorry guys, didn't find the magic in this one.

The Eyes of My Mother 2016
probably would've functioned better as a short film but I mainly say this because I wouldn't of wanted to miss out on that killer directing.
anyways, it's not just the fact the movie feels long winded as hell, it's the fact that the stuff that needs to be inferred are either way too vague or way too obvious - there's no in between.
