The Irritating Spider-Man
So... Spider-Man 3. How does a film series go from having one of the 'best' to the 'worst' superhero films?
Well it wasn't as bad as I was expecting... No, that does not make it a good film. But at least when the wacky moments like Peter's dancing happened, I knew I was supposed to laugh. When in the previous installments, I couldn't tell if a moment was supposed to be comedic or just unique filmmaking.
From a comedic standpoint, it was probably the most enjoyable. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and the overfilling of villains doesn't seem so bad after you've seen The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Topher Grace was super cringy as Venom which as the upcoming film looks to be shaping up will be a character that never gets full justice on the big screen. And I hated Mary Jane in this. I could stand her in the past two but she became unbearably annoying and frustrating in this, I don't get what you see in her Peter.
An odd trilogy that I don't think I will ever truly understand but was a lot of fun to revisit.
Now I'm off to 100% the PS4 Game...
