Maddison Bolesworth’s review published on Letterboxd:
I still hate everything about the hotdog fingers, but upon rewatch this film has grown on me a little. I can forget the lameness of some jokes and appreciate everything else I loved about it.
The three main leads are absolutely tremendous. Yeoh and Hsu are heartbreakingly good and I have no words for Ke Huy Quan, he is just so sweet and pure you want to crush him.
Technically this is also a masterpiece. Oh, to be a fly on the wall of those schedule meetings.
