Collin Taylor’s review published on Letterboxd:
You’re not an asshole Mark. You’re just trying so hard to be.
This movie will always hit me differently whenever I watch it. Fincher’s film is full of relentless energy and a sense of melancholiness through the incredible score and dour color palette. What hits me so much is that last scene. No matter how successful Facebook is, Mark betrayed everyone and it’s impossible to forget that. He’s the youngest billionaire ever and for what? Sitting alone in a room desperately waiting for his ex-girlfriend to add him back. I love every second of this movie. It’s hopelessly tragic to see powerful figures rise and fall at the same time.
