Tenet

Tenet ★★★★

Worked better for me on the second viewing (with the subtitles on of course). The ending is still convoluted as hell but Nolan's skill for creating dynamic and memorable images on top of a pulsating score almost makes up for that entirely. I can't say I've ever seen anything quite like a war sequence where we are intercutting between soldiers moving backward and forwards in time. I may have no idea what the mechanics of the plot are during this scene but I do know I'm enjoying the experience on some level (and I think that has to be considered some sort of accomplishment).
