Better the second time around. Fukunaga’s eye remains great and the film is better shot because of it. 

Plot sort of takes a back seat to their attempts to wrap up the Bond saga and character development but it still manages to work well enough. Also leaves little time for Rami Malek’s character to feel whole, in a way that somehow didn’t work compared to, say, Javier bardem’s villain a few years back (which worked well with a similarly curt backstory).

Nice way to wind down the characters though. Much better than Spectre.

Last shot of the film is incredible. I cracked up (incredulously) while the rest of the theater was silent.

Great movie. Could have been a half hour shorter but the slow burn was worth it.

I think this just may be his masterpiece.
