Nicholas Adamson’s review published on Letterboxd:
A man lost at sea washes up on a tiny island.
Long before Bo Burnham made a film entirely on his own, Joel Haver was blazing a trail in his own unique way, proving that creativity doesn't need to break the bank.
The difference between this and "Inside" is that Joel has no interest in telling us what we already know. He wants to take us and him into uncharted territory, to probe ideas and feelings that lurk under the surface, unchecked, unspoken and untrending.
What this leaves us with is an endlessly exciting trip through an unpredictable world, familiar but alien.
A marvel of cinematic creativity. Check it out this weekend on YouTube
