Just another fantastic take on a historical revolution by Shaka King. Truly his creativity and vision is wonderful, focusing on realism. As for Lakeith dhcv and Daniel Kuuluya, their performances was great and a well start for their acting career.
At one point maybe I wanna learn and know more about history (especially after watching these type of films) about the people's struggle and sacrifice back then and now too! William O'Neal was surely a "rat" but he was a "Panther" too. A great take on his story by Shaka King, the cinematography is (as always) beautiful.
Power. People are the Power.
Fred Hampton was only 21 years then. Twenty one years old.
