Barry Murphy’s review published on Letterboxd:
The X-Men franchise has been a wild ride in terms of both film quality, and head-scratching continuity and canon. With Logan, all the bullshit is cast aside for a violent and personal Wolverine story - one that absolutely feels worthy of Jackman's final role as the character which, despite misfires here and there, has been thoroughly entertaining for nearly two decades. The leading performances are outstanding, maybe the best two in a super hero film to date, and the story is pared down and focused. Genre burnout be damned, make sure you go out of your way to see this.
