    Although this was released two days before His Prehistoric Past, that film was actually completed almost a month before this, technically making Getting Acquainted Chaplin's last short for Keystone Studios. It would also mark the last time he'd work with Mabel Normand and many of the others on the roster of Keystone players.

    It's a shame the short wasn't a better one to mark the occasion, but perhaps it's apt in a way, because it's symbolic of how Chaplin was…

    Knick just needs to order a glass cutter from wherever he got the jackhammer and TNT and he'll make it to "Sunny Atlantis" and "Sunny Miami" in the end 🧜‍♀️🏖️

    A funny if slightly too horny short from Pixar in which I could definitely see the Looney Tunes influence. I think more animation should be soundtracked by Bobby McFerrin improvising a cappella jazz 🎶👌

    There are a few times in this film when the expressions HDS pulls reminded me so much of my nan in her later years and I found it really moving. The moment when he breaks the fourth wall to smile got me 😭
