The scenes often drag a bit which contradict the chaos, causing the direction to drift away. Being a victim of its own runtime doesn't take away that it feels like an amusement park and you can tell the cast had a blast. The movie acts both as a satirical take and an ode to the olden days of the American film industry. The title says it all.
