  • Doctor Who: The Mark of the Rani

Doctor Who: The Mark of the Rani

    ★★½

Lmao they made that guy a tree.

The Master tries to hypnotise Peri and she basically just says no. Not as cool as when Jo avoided hypnotism but good for her none the less.

Something something Maxor something something Dinosaur something something. What I'm trying to say is that a dinosaur is in this story

  • Doctor Who: Vengeance on Varos

    Doctor Who: Vengeance on Varos

    ★★★★

Can't believe that Bad Wolf was just copying this masta-piece. Except unlike Bad Wolf we get to see the reactions of some of the viewers.

As if the plot wasn't giving enough Eccleston vibes these quotes are somewhat familiar

    "Water me."
    - Sil

"Think you can tie this string around those without Killing Yourself?"
    - The Doctor (6)

    "Moisturise me."
    - Cassandra

    "Kill Yourself."
    - The Doctor (9)

(Plus Christopher and Colin are the only Doctor First Names that begin…

  • Doctor Who: Attack of the Cybermen

Doctor Who: Attack of the Cybermen

    ★★★

This may be my first Colin Baker episode, but I can safely say that he's the least trustworthy Doctor.

Him forcing Peri to threaten someone with a gun is pretty fucked up and him saying that he won't hurt Peri is not a very convincing statement.

Love that Lytton is pronounced exactly like Litten (The Pokémon).

Why does some of the music in this episode sound like it's from a mediocre SEGA Genesis game?

OK WHAT THE FUCK I SWEAR…

  • Doctor Who: Carnival of Monsters

  • Doctor Who: The Caves of Androzani

Doctor Who: The Caves of Androzani

    ★★★★

The 5th Doctor sacrificing himself to save a companion was really the only way the 5th Doctor could go. After being the first Doctor to have a long-term companion die, nothing else would've made sense.

The writers seemed to be aware of this given that the Doctor's final words are:
    "Adric?..."
    - The Doctor (5)

Now, I've only seen his first season and the Five Doctors, but it seems like the first story where the Doctor's Celery has been questioned.…

  • Doctor Who: The Time Warrior

    Doctor Who: The Time Warrior

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

"Brigadier, a straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting."
    - The Doctor (3)

The 3rd Doctor is such a good fighter. The Time War would've ended a lot differently if he was involved.

  • Doctor Who: The Five Doctors

    Doctor Who: The Five Doctors

    ★★★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    Nu Who:
Doctor: "The Master is my oldest friend! I have to help them!

    Classic Who:
    "No, we can't leave him!"
    - Sarah Jane Smith
    "You just watch me."
    - The Doctor (3)

Watched with the Companion Commentary, and thus the rest of the review is about that.

    "THAT HORSE IS ENORMOUS!!!"
    - Elizabeth Sladen

"Patrick, it's 10:30 in the morning."
    - Nicholas Courtney [in reference to Patrick Troughton having alcohol]

I'm so glad that Elizabeth, Nicholas, Mark and Carole…

  • Doctor Who: Time Crash

    Doctor Who: Time Crash

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Shocking that 10 would just spoil Series 3's plot twist for 5.

I don't think I could forgive someone if they did that to me.

  • Doctor Who: Time-Flight

    Doctor Who: Time-Flight

    ★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Fine, I guess, but the flight crew are quite good actually.

Bit cruel of the Doctor to just abandon Tegan, though.

  • Doctor Who: Earthshock

    Doctor Who: Earthshock

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    Those credits...

Max, you're really not gonna like this story... Not only does Tegan insult the Dinosaurs, but Adric genocides them! Can you confirm if Dinosaurs had 'Pea Brains'?

Aside from everything to do with Adric, the next best thing about this story is easily David Banks and his EXCELLENT performance as the Cyber-Leader. My top 3 Cybermen are currently:
    1. The Originals (Including the patients)(Tenth Planet, World Enough & Time, The Doctor Falls)
    2. Ashad The Lone Cyberman (The Haunting of Villa Diodati)
    3. The Cyber-Leader (David Banks) (His voice is too good)

  • Doctor Who: Black Orchid

    Doctor Who: Black Orchid

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Love how confused Nyssa and Adric look while the Doctor plays cricket. Can definitely relate.

It's always nice to just see the TARDIS Team having fun, even if the Doctor is lost for most of the first episode.

"Then this man is an imposter as well."
    - Lady Cranleigh

"I don't know what this is all about, but I do know that the Doctor is no imposter."
    - Tegan Jovanka

What would a murder mystery be without Among Us references?

  • Doctor Who: The Visitation

    Doctor Who: The Visitation

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

They fucking murdered the Sonic Screwdriver!!!

Love the robot that dresses up as Death. Fashion Icon.
