Teddy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Spielberg’s evolution as a filmmaker in “The Fabelmans” is much more interesting than his parents divorce. At one point in the movie Spielberg’s uncle suggests that the kid might love movies “a little bit more” than he loves his parents, and while on the surface this is a divorce movie, I think that’s clearly the case. He can’t help but make “The Fabelmans” a Movie Movie about a living Movie Machine. Movies.
