this film gaslit me into thinking kristen stewart, not robert pattinson, was the british one all along.
anyway, WOW. i am blown away with kristen stewart’s performance. i have never seen her in a role nearly this genuine or profound, but i’m utterly obsessed with it. her evolution as an actress is super impressive. she has some tough competitors for best leading actress this year, but i definitely expect a nomination for her at the least!!!!
another area of this film that surprised me was the interpretation and dramaticism of the biographical storyline. some huge contributors to this were the cinematography and score, both equally as suspenseful and jarring. it felt as though i was watching a psychological thriller. i’m in love.
p.s. timothy spall aka peter pettigrew never fails to be creepy
