Also diese Folge zeigt, wie keine andere, dass die Serie viel zu lang ist.

Ich mochte Mandy damals nicht besonders, denn außer einen verrückten Cage und den netten audiovisuellen Style hatte der Film nicht viel zu bieten. So kann man das auch auf the Viewing übertragen, nur das hier auch ein verrückter Cage fehlt. Diese Folge hätte nicht länger als ne halbe Stunde gehen dürfen, was hier an belanglosen geschwafel vom Stapel gelassen wird ist unglaublich.

Ja audiovisuell gibt's hier auch wieder nicht viel zu meckern, fängt das 70er feeling schon gut ein. Am Ende gibt's dann auch wieder ein paar nette Gore Einlagen und auch hier nichte ich es, dass nicht alle Effekte und Designs aus dem Computer gekommen sind.

Aber ob ich mir jetzt Robocop jemals wieder anschauen kann, nachdem ich sehen musste wie Peter Weller sich lieber nen halbes Kilo Koks rein pfeift als mal an nem Joint zu ziehen, ist fraglich 😂

Also viel zu lange Style over Substance Folge mit nettem Ende. Leider eine der weniger guten Folgen.

So this episode shows, like no other, that the series is far too long.

I didn't like Mandy very much back then, because apart from a crazy Cage and the nice audiovisual style, the film didn't have much to offer. The same can be said for the Viewing , except that it also lacks a crazy Cage. This episode shouldn't have lasted longer than half an hour, the amount of irrelevant gobbledygook is unbelievable.

Yes, audiovisually there's not much to complain about, it captures the 70s feeling well. At the end, there are a few nice gore interludes and here, too, I don't like the fact that not all the effects and designs came from the computer.

But whether I can ever watch Robocop again, after I had to see how Peter Weller would rather take half a kilo of coke than take a drag on a joint, is questionable 😂

So way too long style over substance episode with a nice ending. Unfortunately one of the less good episodes.
