Kicking off with a simple yet effective setup, the movie sets the stakes and then begins to brutally take out one character after another. Plus, it features some truly gnarly gore, with excellent practical effects and doses of humor, making it a great watch.

Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls 2023
I thought that Onyx's gimmick might get old when experienced at feature-length, but the film was genuinely funny and even emotional. Plus, it had some fun practical effects in it, with the movie even going as far as to give a backstory to his "I don't know" tick. I had a lot of fun with this movie.

Other Side of the Box 2018
This packs more terror and creepiness into 15 minutes than some films do in 90 minutes. A terrifying little short film that could be endlessly more creepy if it were made into a feature length film and fleshed out a bit. I really loved what this offered up though.
