This is a great twist on the home invasion genre as three people break into a blind man’s home to rob him and he ends up flipping the tables on them. That blind man is played by Stephen Lang who is quite menacing and the fact he is blind really adds to the suspense and tension as they have to sneak around the house without making a noise. It’s a nicely directed movie as there is some good lighting too. There’s a twist in there as well and overall it’s compelling stuff. I could really have done without the turkey baster scene, but if the intent was to disturb me then mission accomplished. Either way this is one of the better horror movies to come out around this time.
