This would have to be my absolute favourite silent film so far.
Charlie Chaplin is an absolute marvel! Its amazing how much these films can make you feel without even saying a word.
The only reason why I haven't given it 5 stars is because although the score was fabulous, I don't feel like it fit in well with what was happening in the film. Kind of seemed a bit mistimed.
Jack Coogan was a real treat and I loved the bond that he shared with his funny father. I got so worried towards the end that they might lose each other!
Such a sweet film.
