Taylor Williams’s review published on Letterboxd:
Unsettlingly 2000’s visually and structurally, felt like a watered-down Bourne film that turns into G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. That makes it sound better than it is. Solid performances with rough accents and rougher dialogue even by marvel’s standards. Also these movies have to do their thing of course, but the character invulnerability felt particularly heinous here and made it hard to stay checked into the action sequences. Sitka’s Coliseum Theater surprised me with 7.1 audio though, so that helped. In terms of Infinity War foreshadowing, the hair dye and vest are whatever, but what would’ve been really cool is if Black Widow had rolled up in that movie with a completely fucked up nose and it took us three years to find out why.
