do i like everything i watch, or just watch everything i like?
shin godzilla is perhaps the bolder film, presenting us with a new take on Godzilla to reinvigorate the franchise, and while i appreciate a lot about Shin Godzilla, it’s Godzilla Minus Zero that feels, while perhaps familiar, like the perfect Godzilla movie. this just feels like a new Godzilla movie that is the perfect execution of what a Godzilla movie can and is known to be. and you know, there isn’t anything wrong with that.
