Zatoichi on the Road 1963
More like Zatoichi on an escort mission to bring back the (company-)president’s (repeatedly-)kidnapped daughter whom he may or may not have developed feelings for during this quest. Bad City 2022
Some really terrific fights as one would expect from Kensuke Sonomura the man responsible for choreographing some of the best and most innovative fight scenes of the last decade in this otherwise mostly forgettable but sturdy 90s v-cinema throwback actioner. Not a bad watch if you wanna see Hitoshi Ozawa dish out some pain the likes of which we haven’t seen since Daisaku Kuze vs Dragon of Dojima.
