It's impressive how this mostly one-location film manages to fill almost 90 min yet doesn't really drag at all. The climax is also still intense as hell, granted I will say after reading Aron Ralstons recounting of these events I feel like the scene portraying what finally catalyzed him to do the amputation could have been done better. Still a great flick.

Also unrelated from the movie itself but I chuckled at the fact that my PS3 was ready to resume at the point in the credits where I'd ejected the blu following my first viewing over a decade ago

There's a strong likelihood I'm being especially harsh on this one coming off of the high that was Alien Night, but even still this movie was ass. Starts out bland and uninteresting and never did anything to even begin piquant my interest. Even my assumption that this film had something of a decent floor given the involvement of Donald Pleasence backfired. The one redeeming part of this film was that I was so bored by it I finally got around to logging my blu ray collection, so at least SOMETHING came of this
