    What a Girl Wants is a rom-com that is passable with good performances. This one was about a girl who travels to the UK to meet her long-lost father, who is a politician. The narrative is pretty predictable but quite enjoyable, with good comedies and a father-daughter relationship. The father-daughter relationship was well established from the beginning. The whole romance part wasn't well established, though. Colin Firth shines through this one with his character Henry, a stuffed politician who took that job due to family. Amanda Brynes was okay with his role. Christina Cole provides the comedies very well, too.

This one is about three teenagers who run away from home and stay in a tree house they built in the middle of a forest in order to be independent from their parents, and the characters and circumstances were well established.
