Michael Sarnoski’s PIG was beautifully shot. Nicolas Cage and rising star, Alex Wolff carries the film just like that. It’s about grief and loss, and importantly I think the acceptance of human’s desire.
Nicolas Cage was great in the third act. The moment he broke down, the film puts a lot of weight on the viewers’ shoulder about coping the acceptance.
When the pig was kidnapped, I seriously thought it’s gonna be another John Wick shit, but thankfully it didn’t came close. This is something else! Probably, this year’s subtle movie.
