I would like the begin this review by pointing out the biggest missed opportunity in this whole series which was NOT GIVING THAT LITTLE BOY WITH THE BASEBALL BAT MORE SCREEN TIME. HE WAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AND I THINK HE AT LEAST DESERVES A PREQUEL DEDICATED TO HIS KILLING SPREE!
Now that that’s out of the way I can say that this was my favorite in the whole series. I’m not gonna say it was the most original plot twist ever but like, it still did something mildly unexpected in terms of the story. I thought all the action was fun and I enjoyed the addition of that random janitor guy a surprising amount. I was much more engaging and fun than the other two. And like the others I thought they did a lot of fun stuff with the lighting and with color in general.
I didn’t like the Home Alone style hijinx montage and their accents in the 1600s portion were truly horrendous but I still thought it was all fun.
Anyways, justice for the baseball bat boy!
