My favorite films are my favorite first time watches of the previous month.
After The Thin Man isn't quite as good as The Thin Man, but it's close. It's always good to see Nick and Nora. William Powell and Myrna Loy make a great team. The most surprising thing about this movie is seeing a young Jimmy Stewart (28 years old!) in this. How the story ends for his character is something else. I mean, just imagine if he had more roles that went that direction!
It's always good to get to see a movie with Christopher Lee, but I honestly thought he would get more screen time with such a high billing. Oh well, I was rooting for him!
Probably the best choice I could have made to watch a comedy featuring a dictator. Why did I put that off for so long? Also why didn't I know Daniel Bruhl and Michael Fassbender are in this?
