i love how even though they stopped with the different directors after mcquarrie helmed the directors chair (rightfully so), he still goes about them the same way each of the previous directors did. each director infusing their own style and touch in their installments is part of why i love this franchise so much, so this still being his while it couldn’t feel more different from rogue nation and fallout to me just makes me so excited. it’s so fucking…
i’m being so incredibly serious when i say this needs to win best original screenplay. four watches later & it’s still a fuckin riot. perfect runtime, packed full of jokes and gags you continue to pick up on as you watch more, and full of pretty girls & good fights, could you literally ask for anything more??? love taking more friends to watch and seeing what they laugh at it’s literally the best. i also always wait til the end to tell them to look at the mascot and that first laugh when they realize……… an unmatched feeling truly. man i love this movie
