    Madame Web

    Me : “Burn it.”

    Sony: “What?”

Me: “Did I say stand there and look stupid? I said burn it.”

Since the first trailer of Madame Web came out, I was completely turned off by its CW ass production, acting and visual style. However, I was curious as to how trashy this comic book movie would be and heavens to Betsy, I was basically force fed a cringe cake. This is probably the worst comic book movie ever made, hell, this…

    Sundance watch #9

Last day to squeeze out a few watches from Sundance.

Oh wow, I feel like every watch just keeps getting better and better.

This movie makes Andre Holland to be one of my new favorite actors rn. He just perfectly captures a man being reliving his past trauma and living with that pain when he creates his art. It’s both a beautiful and painful experience that I never knew I needed. Aunjanue Ellis and John Earl Jelks are also the standouts.

My first 5 star of the year. I can’t wait for the world to watch this

Napoleon Dynamite, a known 2000s classic, a staple of comedy cinema, is one of those movies that I had yet to see. My only context of the movie was “Vote for Pedro” and Napoleon as a character, it was until that I watched the movie in full and…

The scene where Joe plays the piano as he thought about his most beloved memories had me rethink my entire life.🥹 I can’t believe this is one of the last few times that Pixar peaked. Pete Docter needs to make another movie to save the beloved animated studio.

I’m jealous of the people who got to see Part Two early, it should’ve happened to me. Anyway, I rewatched this again which is closest to what I can get. I’m really excited to witness the story of Paul Atreidis to continue this Friday and I’m already expecting a masterpiece anyway.

    Good night, y’all.
