  It's...fine. Not bothered by the historical accuracy of the Russian roulette scenes, it's a movie, not a documentary. But then the whole thing never fully came together as I was hoping it would.

  Impossible to take my eyes off John Cazale though.

  Better than its reputation would have you believe. For a film adapted from a play, a surprisingly large feeling film.

  I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang definitely should've won though.

  Seriously this is so dumb and meaningless. There are no stakes. There are no consequences. If you “die” you just go back to Level 0 so boo friggin hoo. It’s just nothing. It’s nothing.

  I Heard the Bells 2022

  I went into this movie blind because it worked out time-wise and didn't realise it was a faith movie until they all started singing about 10 minutes in and I realised I'd made a huge mistake.

  It's not good and everyone's acting is turned up to 125% to the point of distraction. However, the production of it was really excellent. For a relatively larger-scale movie, nothing looked or felt cheap or like they were cutting corners at all.
