It's been a few months since I went back through this franchise, and with the amount of times I've already seriously reviewed these films, I'm just going to treat them as little update columns on my page. Wes Craven entered his third distinct era in filmmaking with Scream, and precisely reinvented the horror genre with Kevin Williamson's script -- I'm excited to branch out now and explore both of their filmographies side by side. Very obsessed with the soundtrack in here, and when they re-release the film in 4K, theatrically and at home this October, I know I'll have a blast.
