Steven Burnley’s review published on Letterboxd:
Pretty good. Spike Lee is one crazy dude. This movie is pretty damn strange. The music was neat, I enjoyed all the Marvin Gaye acapellas. I’m sure someone will write a review about how has a lot to say about the relationship between fathers and sons, our relationship to America, America’s relationship to the world. You should probably go find that review.
The Paul stuff was really good. Delroy Lindo absolutely killed it. The insight into the mind of a Trump voter was really cool to see, Lee did a great job making him feel real.
Unfortunately, I thought the movie was a little too long and the not Paul stuff was just good. Overall though, pretty good.
