Letterboxd — Your life in film

Guy ritchies spy thriller is entertaining but I thought it kinda failed to really pull me in and come together at the end.. the sexy cast helps though and it looks fantastic- it never gets boring either .. it’s a watered down mission impossible

Dives deeper into the universe of the Table and it’s characters and locations … some very big and bold set pieces act as stunning back drops for the usual action which as times is straight up looney tunes .. the camera work is slick and this one scene was on 🔥 literally !! Another excellent chapter ! Too long though wtf 😝

This felt like an insane spin off of Atlanta with more blood and a little bit of nudity sprinkled in there, very easy recommendation if you enjoyed that series and your a horror fan - head over to this asap.. the topics of celebrity obsession along with the impact of a traumatic upbringing clash together for an incredibly entertaining and mindfucky slasher mini series .. it’s blood shocking and quirky!

A grim story about family and crime but overall it’s very bland and no one is too interesting.. by the end I was fast forwarding to just get thru it all

I’d read  that this was PCW’s inspiration for decision to leave in this review .. so I had to check it out ! It reminded me a-lot of In the mood for love too - a deeply tortured and restrained love story affair ! The tension and drama got pretty thick. I found the whole thing captivating and alot of it is the inner mind VO of the leading lady which I always love that sort of anxiety riddled inner thoughts of people ..

Oddly I don’t have much to say but this was better than I though it’d be - great cast , shocking story — I was engaged the entire time

The way this starts and the first half hour feels like you've been dropped into the middle of film but since its based off a series perhaps that justifies it. Although I think you could watch this without having any series knowledge for the most part its an enclosed story minus some mild character relationships. The rest of the pacing was pretty quick too which was nice and the atmosphere sucked me right in with its dark buildings and foreboding music., Lotta nice sets , lots crazy murder! Big Blockbuster thriller..

The dumb dumb dumb shit that happens makes this hard to enjoy at times but ya know it’s still pretty entertaining I guess .. it’s always just a ride waiting for the reveal ..

Wacky babysitter whose always on acid and a family of horny freaks … it was pretty good , I’m not entirely sure why they felt the need to have the sitter on acid though I don’t think they really used that angle much .. it did have one damn good twist that made it worth while at least ! The setting was also quite cool and creepy vibes
