The twisted genius of Robert Eggers delivers successfully once more, this time with the action epic, The Northman.

Everything in the presentation had me immersed into the visceral world of masculine primal aggression, pillaging, honour, and death: the thumping score, the crisp cinematography and diverse locations and sets. 

Certainly in need of a revisit, and should be experienced by anyone who wants to be enchanted (and who can stomach extreme gore).
