Feeling very lucky that I saw this for the first time at a cinema. The crowd was in good spirits and there was a lot of laughter, I guess because this sort of horror is a little worn out these days. But that laughter was often very revealing: transparent attempts to defuse tension and ward off evil spirits. And I still checked every nook and cranny once I got home. One of the best uses of the negative space of widescreen images that I've ever encountered.
