Other People

Other People ★★★½

A story filled with a lot of emotional pieces including illness, homosexuality, family, and other components. Jesse Plemons made the role look easy and enjoyable to watch. The cast was solid overall.

What I liked a lot about the film was the various comedic moments that kind of lightened the mood for the story itself. I chuckled a few times at different scenes that were mixed into the story even if they weren’t too important to make a difference.

The film was a little dull at times and I felt a little disinterested at times. I also was getting annoyed with the constant “Drops of Jupiter” being played by Train every 5 minutes.

Other than that, an okay film with some hits and misses. 3.5/5 overall
