    now THIS is a good horror movie. wowowowow i am impressed. i thought this was a stand-alone before going in, but it's still a very respectable movie on its own and as part of the predator franchise. it would have been dope as hell if the entire thing was in comanche. really hope this encourages more projects with actual native americans playing actual native characters

    this is probably the first time i've ever started bawling during the opening credits of a movie. i'd been thinking about how all films are, in their own necessary ways, extraordinary labors of love, but some of them take that concept to new levels. the dedication and work that went into every stroke here was... truly something incredible, unfathomable. how wonderful it is…

    i love a movie that lets me appreciate young donald sutherland. an entrancing one, rich with symbolism. the subtitle decision was very confusing, but perhaps lost on me as someone who does understand italian a little bit. (but maybe that makes me like the baxters, then.) it didn't quite do it for me, but it was a lovely watch, and i'll be thinking about the last half hour for time to come.
