An overall incredible story that is far more articulate than most coming of age films. It still contained many of the cliches that high school films usually have, but had enough individuality of its own that cut through most of the stereotypical bullshit well. Most of the characters were very lovable and easy to grow attached to, but many felt quite one dimensional. The good certainly outweighs the bad and this film is definitely worth a watch.

    Genuinely could not stay interested

Pretty much the only good character was Santa. Even he wasn’t particularly well written, in all actuality, it was an incredible actor carrying a mediocre(at best) script. The one liners and copy paste characters were all insufferable and the only mildly interesting thing that happened was Santa’s back story.  If i was twelve and had never seen a good comedy or action movie I would probably like this a lot.

They do an incredible job of making a copy paste formula that always ends in the good guy winning but not in the traditional way they wanted you to expect. Guns and Roses is a shitty band and the perfect choice for a shitty movie. Really enjoyed seeing another cgi battle that ends in a deus ex machina saving the…
