I’m honestly quite surprised by how gritty this movie was. I feel like Fear Street will be the Scream for this generation. Definitely enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next 2. Also, the soundtrack is fantastic, pretty much like a 90s mixtape!
Beautifully shot and well acted. This film not only builds dread and scares but handles grief, loss, and depression in a meaningful way. It feels like a modern homage to classic 1930s and 1940s horror with a bit of The Great Gatsby thrown in.
