  The ending is extremely good. Didn’t expect how explicitly this would tackle racial issues. Movie itself is very funny, but has its dull patches as well.

  Fun concept and the musical numbers are excellent. Loved the psychedelic song during the casting too- pure 1967 sound.

  Interesting to see a documentary that shows so many different sides of a person, giving definitive proof of their villainy and then asking you to care about and sympathize with them. I didn’t know anything about his music, and I was really impressed with his range. Ultimately as a documentary it’s a little unfocused, but I really enjoyed the complex subject matter.

  The Greatest Showman 2017

  Spectacular production design, cinematography, choreography, staging. Extremely slick directing and editing. Very genuine performance by Jackman. A few real knockout songs, though there's a point where the film (and music) dips and can't seem to recapture the magic until the finale. Even so, a truly grand production, and one of the best reasons this year to go to the movies.
