    The Front Page

Finally a runtime that went nicely with the material. This seems to be a bit of an unsung classic for Wilder. I never thought that a comedy set in America during prohibition would be so fun but it really worked!

  • Avanti!

As pleasant as this was it also made me feel a little weird..? It’s a strange story with masterful directing so in the end it really worked for me.

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes

I didn’t expect a Sherlock Holmes movie when deciding to go through Billy Wilder’s films. I love a good mystery and this was, indeed, a good mystery.

  • The Fortune Cookie

    The Fortune Cookie

Walter Matthau had a real presence in his day. He’s perfect for the slimy lawyer here. I’m excited to see more of Matthau and Lemmon together.

Can’t wait to go around asking children if they’ve seen the new Charlie Kaufman film

  • Kiss Me, Stupid

    Kiss Me, Stupid

This was my first time seeing Ray Walston in a leading role and I’m surprised he’s not a lead more often, he was so talented. Kim Novak on the other hand, this has gotta be her worst performance..

  • Alien³

2024 David Fincher would make a banger of an Alien movie

  • Irma la Douce

    Irma la Douce

Just the color palette alone is mesmerizing and with that there’s this delightful love story. Jack Lemmon is just so entertaining in this. I just love a feel good comedy.

    One, Two, Three

Another enjoyable Comedy from Billy Wilder and IAL Diamond. This one had some His Girl Friday energy, very snappy and energetic.

  • The Apartment

    The Apartment

Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine… a couple of the finest performances in a romance. And on top of that this film is well lit, well paced, and has an outstanding soundtrack. I already want to watch it again.

  • Some Like It Hot

    Some Like It Hot

The comedy era of Billy Wilder is the best and this cast is one of the best he’s ever had. Can’t wait to watch all of Wilder’s Jack Lemmon movies!
