This movie is SIGNIFICANTLY improved after having seen 2049. Maybe I’m just stupid but this movie made a toooon more sense this time around and I was able to sit back and enjoy more of it, rather than have to orient myself in this new world. Very interesting movie, brings up some cool ideas and questions. The first time I saw this I thought it dragged and was way too long, this time around I thought it was too short. I just would like to see some deeper storyline. The stakes just aren’t quite there. The ending is amazing though.

That being said, imo that really just shows how good 2049 is. This is a great movie but the spectacle of it all pales in comparison. Literally every good aspect of Blade Runner is turned up by 10 in 2049.
