The Black Phone 2021
this was an enjoyable enough watch. I drank a THC beverage and was sufficiently spooked during jump scares. definitely can feel the sinister vibes throughout with shot styles and ghost children.
I did enjoy the dark humor moments thrown in, as well as the very authentically feeling 70s aesthetic. I think it could have been more interesting if it gave more of a background rather than stranger danger moral panic inducing events.
