SWEET BEANS!
It's been about a year since I watched this in theaters and I have not been able to review it yet. My goodness, I fell in love with this film immediately. From the first shot of the film, we see the spooky old mansion, dogs running and a dramatic mysterious piece of music start to play. The piece of music had me hooked immediately and it was at that moment I knew this film was going to be awesome.
Knives Out was a joy to watch from start to finish. Excellently filmed and very clever, it even had me second-guessing myself. The cast all hit the mark as charismatic Daniel Craig shines throughout. Even Chris Evans shows he can be much more, or maybe less like Captain America than ever. Put Chris Evans in a white sweater in a New England setting and he will SHINE! Murder mysteries don't get much better than this. The script is smart and captivating. Big kudos to Rian Johnson for a well written and directed piece of cinema. This film only gets better with rewatches.
