Man, I think parts of this are really compelling (great work by Kaluuya and Stanfield, first and foremost) ... but something about it just feels OFF. I guess I just wish the focus had been more fully on O'Neal, rather than trying to split time between Hampton and O'Neal? Because then you could've really seen how the betrayal of Hampton weighs on him? I dunno, it just doesn't wholly work for me. Full review here.
