    I've had something of a block with films recently. Have had no motivation to watch them to a degree that caused concern. Had I fallen out of love with my favourite thing?

    But Cinema of Ideas is showing this by Sarah Wood, and as I'm keen on both platform and director I finally watched a film with the expectation and interest that I have missed the last few months.

    And of course it's about cinema and made me cry. It's like a lost love returning to me and that sounds stupid but cinema does that, and I am glad of it.
