i watched blade runner (1982) first but i had to pause it during the first half because i had to rush off for college and afterward went to watch blade runner 2049 with only knowing little of what is happening. i’m not sure if it affects my viewing in any way but just thought i should point out
ok so, i don’t see how this was.... amazing? i really appreciate the neon lights, the brilliant soundtrack and the shots are stunning and the first half was especially great but the third act was a huge downfall for me and i couldn’t connect with the other characters at all other than rachael. also that apartment scene where deckard forced rachael to kiss him was one of the most uncomfortable thing i have sat through wtf i just don’t understand the hype for this
