  very difficult to rate. a classic for a reason (score, cinnamon topography, hot people, chemistry between actors esp in the first half) with a lot of awful elements (racism, propaganda, overly melodramatic, falls off significantly in the second half), but overall i’m left with the feeling that absolutely no movie needs to be 4 hours long… especially this one
