There is a lot I enjoyed from the SIXTH installment of this FRANCHISE. The kills are brutal, the city of NYC's presence, it's strong characterization for the majority of the cast, and the continued fun way it plays with myth and legacy (feeling like an All Stars installment).
The film has a clever way it uses online spaces and viral infamy to explore a topic that is rarely explored on the big screen like this. The spread of misinformation, misogyny, and active hate and how it can destroy the lives of those at the end of it. It's interesting stuff for the genre.
While I am not a fan of the third act for reasons I won't get into because of spoilers, sometimes its really all about the journey... and Scream 6 shows it's got some murder still freshly pumping through its blood.
