I do like a good supernatural slasher; the kills can be so much more creative than your usual lunking axeman can manage. And Superstition starts off great, with some gory mayhem practically every five minutes.
It loses a bit of momentum when the lead priest starts to investigate everything, and eventually the body count only just scrapes into double figures: 13, though the last three are pretty lame.
Still, I'm not sure that I'd ever seen the film uncut before, which would account for why I enjoyed it more on this viewing than I ever had before. Give me an exploding head and a man cut in half in the very first scene, and I'm hardly going to complain.
